Audiobooks for Authors
Memoir deserves to be heard in the voice of the writer.
What I Do:
I work with writers to bring their memoirs to life in their own voice as a professionally recorded audiobook.
I love working with memoir writers to get the best possible read from them of their work, and then produce that recording into an edited mastered audiobook. After working in public radio for more than 30 years I now work independently with writers who want to narrate their own audiobook. I’ve worked with people at all levels of recording experience, from broadcast professionals to people who have never sat in front of a microphone before to procure a meaningful listen of their personal story.
The process:
As a session director, I listen as you record to catch mistakes as you go, and coach for intonation and inflection, word emphasis, and overall flow. At the end of recording I take care of all editing, fixing mistakes from along the way. I also handle all the technical specs and mastering required by every audiobook distribution platform and guide you through file upload and distribution process. All for a seamless, professional audiobook, handcrafted for you.
